Our Story
Struggling Brothers United was not built in a boardroom. It was built in the struggle, the silence, and the hard-won faith of a man who refused to give up.
Too many men are fighting the hardest battles of their lives completely alone. Behind closed doors, behind the smile, behind the silence, men are struggling with identity, addiction, shame, broken relationships, and a deep sense that something was supposed to be different.
Struggling Brothers United was created to be the community that speaks to that silence. Not with easy answers or polished religion, but with honest conversation, authentic faith, and the kind of brotherhood that refuses to leave a man behind.
This is a ministry built on testimony. On the belief that your darkest moment does not have to be your final one.
Helping men rediscover identity, purpose, faith, freedom, and brotherhood through honest conversations and authentic community. We meet men where they are, not where we think they should be.
Building a worldwide brotherhood where no man struggles alone. A community that crosses borders, backgrounds, and broken histories to stand together as men of purpose, faith, and unshakeable identity.
Robert Bedard is a faith-based life coach, speaker, and storyteller whose own story is the foundation of everything SBU stands for. He has walked through homelessness, navigated life with ocular albinism, and faced the kind of battles that break most men.
He did not break. He built.
Robert founded Struggling Brothers United because he knows what it means to fight alone, and he refused to let other men carry that weight by themselves. His testimony-driven approach to ministry is rooted in the conviction that your darkest moments can become your greatest testimonies through faith, authentic community, and the courage to keep standing.
He is married to Kristina, his steady support, and he shows up for the brotherhood the same way he shows up for everything: with honesty, with faith, and without pretense.
Knowing who you are beyond your failures, your past, and the labels the world has placed on you.
Breaking free from the chains of addiction, shame, bitterness, and everything that holds you back.
Anchoring your life to something greater than yourself through authentic, honest, living faith.
Discovering why you are here and walking in the calling that was placed inside you from the beginning.
Standing together with men who have your back, speak truth, and refuse to let you walk alone.
